Morpho Menelaus

This Blue Morpho butterfly is said by many to be one of the most beautiful butterflies in the world! Its bright neon-like sky blue color is quite a dazzler. The underside of the wings are a soft, dull brown color dotted with several eyespots serving as natural protection (camouflage) from its predators.
